About Me:

My name is Adina and I am a Mother, Wife, fitness enthusiast, MC for Girls on the Run Washington DC, yogi, runner, healthy foods, beauty lover of all natural products, lover of all good things in life, an ambassador for several organizations. This site is a gander of my life and journey. Come with me as we sail through this journey of wellness.

I have a true passion about proper nutrition and what fuels the body with good stuff. I enjoy sampling, trying and using all natural products that don’t have harsh toxic chemicals. A relief or the skin is good products. I am heavily engaged in the community i.e. providing group meet ups at different locations i.e. Fleet Feet, Equinox and Anacostia Park for events surrounding wellness.  I have been told by so many people that I am a beacon of light, motivator and encourager. I believe that everyone has a gift and they just need to unlock the door the use it.

A little more about me: I am a recipient of the Humanitarian Award from Bay State College in Boston (1984) Recognized by staff, advisors and professors for always willing to help others. ”

I joined Black Girls Run in 2012 where I started my real running journey. From that group I became one of the ambassadors for the DMV area. I am so grateful for the ladies that I met we have culminated long standing friendships and a true sisterhood. Example we run races together, brunching, weddings and other joyous occasions. In 2016 I was the recipient of Black Girls Run Leadership Award. This is just the beginning.

Let’s cultivate a life that we can be healthier, resilient and move more together.
